Juliet and her RHODE ISLAND REDS

WHAT A GREAT MOTHER
Two have hatched...... one is working really hard.... and still no signs of life from egg number four.

Now the real question is.... can Juliet mother her own adopted children without my constant interference?

Lucky for her I will be gone for 7 days and she will have all that time to bond and mother and protect and teach.

It is very hard to leave but here I go... I am so glad that I was able to see these two precious little ones first. Yippee--way to go---good job to Juliet and congratulations!

I wonder how long it will take for Rhode Island Reds to outgrow their Bantam mother.

  2. Not happening Meredith. Sorry Charlie. Even Ruby Joy who is 2 years old is only allowed to hold the teenagers. Babies can accidently hurt fragile chicks really fast.
